AUTISM AWARENESS INFORMATION

From Lee Volleyball Head Coach Tracie Johnson:

Dear Family and Friends,

Please see the information below about the annual Autism Awareness walk that Adam Johnson and others will be participating in on October 22nd at Reliant Park, Houston.  We invite you to also register and support Adam either by coming out and walking (it's only a 5K or 3.1 miles) on his team "Adam's Crew" and/or supporting him with an online donation. All donations go to the organization Autismspeaks.org that is very involved with awareness and search for a cure activities.  Everyone walking and/or making a donation will receive a team t-shirt, so be sure and email us back your sizes.  The walk begins at 10 am, but a resource fair and an opening ceremony start at 8 am.

 We know many may not be able to come out on October 22, but we know you all support Adam.  Thank you for your support and we appreciate you very much.

WALK WITH ADAM'S CREW!

You and your family/friends are invited to come out and support Adam Johnson and others affected by Autism at the “Walk Now for Autism” 5k event scheduled in Houston on October 22^nd.  The event is sponsored by the Autism Speaks Organization. 

There is no fee to register for the event and any donations are voluntary and are not required.  Please register as follows:

·     Go to www.autismspeaks.org, Click on Walk Events at top of page, Enter Houston and Texas, Click on “Register for this Event” (October 22), Go to “Search by Team Name” and enter Adam’s Crew, Click “Join our Team” and register yourself.

Please email us back if you register and we will reserve a black t-shirt to wear on the event day with “Autism Awareness” on the front and “Adam’s Crew” on the back.  Those not walking, but who sponsor a walker with a donation, will also receive a t-shirt.  Email your t-shirt sizes to us at johnson498@hotmail.com.  Thanks!
