Possibly the best played game of the 2005 5A high school basketball playoffs, Conroe and Temple competed in an epic battle that will be the talk of both towns for years to come. Woodlands Highlanders

Kyle Walker, of The Woodlands Highlanders, had one of the most impressive streaks for any player during the 2005 season. In a 2 week span, Walker tossed 3 straight no-hitters verse District 14-5A foes. The Highlanders outscored their opponents 32-0 during the streak and cruised to the district title. Kyle, along with fellow starter Kyle Drabek, proved to be one of the most feared 1-2 punches in the state. Kyle Walker has moved on to pitch for the University of Texas, where he will continue on his path to a bright future. Click on the photo to the right for the highlights.
